Christmas 2011

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. It was just dad and I in the morning but we got up and got ready. Dad was the good one and went to church. We went to Shane and Crystal's for dinner. She cooked a very wonderful meal. This was the stuff they got for Christmas. Santa was good to them.

Tristen in his new vest. he is a true cowboy. Very grown up.

Clayton is also a cowboy through and through. All he wanted for Christmas was new boots and santa brought him some. I told him he looked like he had grown up over night. Very handsome young man.

These are Claytons new boots. He was so excited about them and proud to have a new pair like dad and brother. He wanted a picture of them. So cool. They were also square toed......

Our two cowboys. Cant believe how fast they are growing up. Sure enjoyed being around them for Christmas.

Shane and Tristen hanging out in the basement waiting for the wonderful lunch that they could smell from upstairs. Hard to wait. Especially since Clayton didnt sleep much the night before.....

Merry Christmas...A very wonderful day...Thanks guys....

Clayton is 10

Clayton had just gotten home from school and so we brought his gifts to him because they are headed to Utah today for his birthday. have a great day young man.

Well, Clayton is now ten years old. he is the last of the grandkids for birthdays and the last of the four that change in the same year. We bought him a banana chair. Hope he enjoys. They are going to utah today to see Ryan Shupe and the rubber band group for his birthday.

Tristen owns a Truck At 14

Tristen bought his first truck. He has been working at the Larsen ranch for a couple of years and saving his money. They went to Draper Utah and he bought the truck himself. He is so proud of that thing. Dont blame him. He bought plates and taxes and insurance himself. So far all the things he wants to fix on it he has bought himself. Yesterday him and Grandpa went cruisin through Kemmerer. Grandpa says man it has a lot of power. Way to go Tristen. Now my two oldest grandsons are vehicle owners. Very proud......

Thanksgiving 2011

Heather Hadley and Chad could not make it to Thanksgiving. They ended up going to the ranch where Chad helped build the party house. It is a beautiful place and they are invited to join in the fun every year. We missed having them with us though. We understand but we still missed them

This is the day after Thanksgivng. Jamie and her family came over for lunch. It was fun to have them and also Crystals family. Heather and her family could not make it. We sure missed having everyone here. It would have been fun to have them all together.

The men of the house had to watch football for Thanksgiving. They do that so well. Bryson went back and forth from football to helping in the kitchen.

Bryson was helping in the kitchen. He had to take an orange juice break.
He worked really hard you know.

Kenna Jo was making the sweet potatoes. She was enjoying herself. I have become a big fan of sweet potatoes ever since going to Heather's and they took us to Cheyenne for dinner and I got a sweet potatoe instead of a regular potatoe and it was wonderful. So now that is the best.

Halloween 2011

Three little Elmer's all in a row...and sideways. Sure wish I knew what I was doing wrong. Oh well, down the road it shows my grandkids how technology was not my thing.

This sideways character is Quinton. I think anyway......

Ok, this really isnt funny. When i edit before I print they are upright and then when I hit print it goes like this...Anyway...this one is Trinity

I guess my blog will just be sideways. I hit rotate and it still does this. Anyway...this is Xander..our little dragon

Here I go, not knowing how to get this right. Anyway...Hadley was a referee. Cute..Cute...cute

This is our Bryson... I think it really changes him. Cool Biker dude

Ya like Tristen's costume. A candy man, a cant see me guy....your guess.

Clayton was a bull rider for Halloween. Great costume. Could be him actually in a few years.

Trinity's school project

Still cant figure out what Im doing wrong when I put these pictures in, but this is Trinity in her school project. She is Marie Antoinette. She had to be a wax figure and stay still until it was done. She had to tell her story into a recorder and when people wanted to know about her they would play the recorder. She said it was hard to stand still the whole time but it was fun.
